  1. Raguel had visited Eden a few more times since his first visit, and gradually he learned how to recognise the feeling of being watched to know when it would be safe to meet with Lilith. A few Angels in Heaven had taken notice of his eagerness to volunteer to monitor the humans frequently, but only a couple dared to ask him about it. "What's so fascinating about them? They haven't even figured sex out yet." Samael asked as he assisted Raguel in filing away the Eden report in Heaven's library. "Not everything is about sex, Sam." Raguel shook his head. "They're fascinating because they're new and unpredictable. That's all." "Ignore my brother; his head has always been in the underdress of others." Lucifer chimed in as he carried over more parchments for them to file away. "I think I understand what you see in them, though. They have opportunities that Angels were never given." "How so?" Samael cocked an eyebrow at his brother. "Think about it. We were created instantly. God snapped his fingers, and here we are, ready to serve. The humans? They got a whole universe to themselves. An entire ecosystem of animals that they themselves adapted from. They were given more of a choice on how they adapted and grew than we were ever given. Simply put, they are and will be more free than we will ever be." "You almost sound jealous." Raguel teased. "Perhaps I am, a little," Lucifer admitted with a chuckle. "But, if there's one thing in Heaven that I'm glad of, it's our cleanliness and intellect. I wonder how long it will take those primates to grow to our level." "Perhaps eventually they will grow to a point that we could live alongside them? In Heaven and Eden. Wherever we choose." Raguel suggested, and the twins looked thoughtful at the idea. "Now that's a novel idea," Lucifer said as he filed away a stack of parchments into a folder. "I wonder what the sex would be like..." Samael added and received a swift clip around the ear from his brother. "Careful, brother, you'll earn our Father's ire by talking like that!" "But that's the next logical step, no? Combine our biology to make something else! Something new!" "Lucifer is right; we shouldn't be entertaining the idea. At least not until our Father says otherwise," Raguel said, looking slightly uncomfortable. He glanced up at the clock and smiled. "I must go." "Ah yes, to watch the humans. Have fun, Rags. Try not to fall asleep!" Lucifer called after him as Raguel eagerly ran out of the room. - Above Eden, Raguel watched them tensely. Something had changed recently about the humans. Adam seemed eager to try initiating sex, or at least what he thought sex was, but Lilith still wasn't ready yet. He followed her around and pleaded with her to just try with him. That perhaps she'd like it once things got going. She wasn't having it, though, and she eventually snapped at him to leave her alone for the night. Raguel feared Adam would go after her and attempt to force her. With their procreation being a high priority at the moment, he would have been forbidden to intervene if such a thing were to happen. But thankfully, Adam seemed more dejected than angry. He stormed off in another direction to 'take care of himself'. Raguel noted this quickly, but not wanting to hang around and watch him, he silently descended into the forested area where Lilith had gone. Cautiously, he approached her from behind. She was leaning against a tree and crying quietly. "Lilith?" he whispered to her, and she jumped a little before turning her head to look at him. "What's wrong?" he asked gently. She looked like she was going to talk, but her lower lip trembled, and she shook her head before hurrying over to him. She pressed herself against him, surprising him, and Raguel wrapped his arms around her. Despite her sadness, Raguel couldn't help feeling elated at her seeking comfort in his arms, and he cherished the sweet moment for as long as he could until she finally found the strength to speak. "I'm afraid," she whispered. "Of what?" "He's... he's just so..." She seemed embarrassed but pushed through. "Big... What if it hurts? What if it doesn't fit? What if I fail and don't have his babies?" "Ah..." Raguel thought about how to respond. Her concerns about Adam's size were understandable. The Angels had already noted that for the first of his species, he was well endowed. But thankfully, sexual education existed in Heaven. After all, God didn't want to be repeatedly snapping his fingers to make more Angels, so he equipped them with the means to procreate as well. "It's natural to be afraid of your first time." He told her gently. "Angels must do this too, and we know what it's like." "You do?" Lilith sniffled. She looked up at him hopefully, and Raguel couldn't resist gently tucking her hair behind her ear to move it away from her face. "Of course. The first time is always scary, but that's natural. You're only afraid because you've never done it before. It's new and unknown to you." "Yes!" Lilith gasped, thankful that Raguel understood her concerns completely. She felt truly heard. "But it will work." He reassured her. "And yes, he might be... big, but it will still fit, and you will still be able to have his children." "Will it hurt?" "The first time, maybe. But only a little, and then it will feel good." Lilith nodded in understanding and glanced away from him thoughtfully. Raguel frowned a little. After being upset by the conversation she'd had with Adam, he didn't want to send her back to him just yet. Besides, he might still be taking care of himself. "Come, sit with me a while?" He asked her, and she smiled at him. Her eyes still glistening from her tears. He brought her to a clearing, and they sat in the grass next to each other. He looked upwards at the stars and gently nudged her arm to make her look up as well. "Those spots in the sky are stars," he told her. "Stars..." she repeated while looking up at them in wonder. Raguel glanced at her and couldn't help staring. Captivated by her innocence. "Yes," he smiled. "They're very, very far away, but they give light to your world during the night." "And that?" Lilith pointed to the sickle-shaped moon. "The moon. It also provides light by reflecting it off the sun." "I know the sun... Not to look at it." "Yes." "Reflect?" She looked at him interestedly. Raguel smiled brightly at her and tried his best to explain as simply as he could the concept of reflections and how light travels. They then went on to talk about the stars, how they don't move and can be followed to navigate Eden. Eventually, Lilith was resting her head on Raguel's shoulder as they talked. "What is Heaven like?" She asked him. "It's like Eden," Raguel answered. "It's a world with its own sun and moon. There are many Angels there." "They all know everything, as you do?" "I don't know everything." Raguel chuckled and looked at her. "I know lots of things, though. Heaven has good teachers." "Can you take me to Heaven, one day?" Raguel hesitated before answering. "Maybe. One day." He wasn't sure how true that would be and didn't want to promise anything. He stared into her eyes, and the idea of them in Heaven together seemed a blasphemy, yet he found himself wanting it with all of his being. Her in the fields of Heaven, standing with him. Holding his hand as he taught her everything he knew. Holding her in his arms, like he was now. He should have stopped there. He should have pulled away, sworn never to return and urged her to go back to Adam. He should have gone back to Heaven and reported all of his secret meetings and taken the punishment for breaking the rules while remaining thankful that things hadn't gone too far. But that's not what he did. What he did, while lost in his desires and her eyes, was far, far worse. It started when he gently pressed his lips against hers. She tensed but didn't pull away. She clumsily copied his lip movements, and the feeling of her soft lips on his drove his desires further, pushing all thought of consequences from his mind until he could only think of her. He pulled her close to him and laid her down under him. - He awoke some time later and was a little confused by the stars overhead, and then the realisation dawned on him. Reluctantly, he looked down to see Lilith's head on his chest. She was sleeping peacefully, and they were both naked. "No!" He jumped, waking her up. When she lifted herself to look at him in confusion, he jumped to his feet and away from her. "No, no, no! What have I done?! I shouldn't have-! We shouldn't have-!" he stared at her for a moment and then quickly threw his clothing back on. He stepped towards her and gently gripped her shoulders. "I'm so sorry, I should not have done this to you! I need to leave, and we can never see each other again." "But why?!" Lilith asked, pained by his words. "Please don't leave!" "I must, and you cannot tell anyone what we did! It was wrong, and we would both be punished. Please, please promise me that you won't tell anyone!" "I don't understand!" Lilith began to cry. "What did we do wrong?" "You're supposed to be with Adam. Not me. I shouldn't have- I'm so sorry!" He gently wiped her tears away with his thumbs. "Please promise me that you won't tell anyone what happened here. We will both be punished and hurt if you do." "I-I promise, but please don't leave. I don't want to go back. I don't want him, I want you! Our secret!" "No!" Raguel cringed at her words and felt guilty that he had taught her such deceptions. "No more. We can't, Lilith. You must go back to him. Have his babies. Live a good life with him." "I don't want him, Raguel!" Lilith cried. Raguel wrapped his arms around her and held the back of her head as she wept into his shoulder. "I know... I know... and this is my fault. I'm sorry." Reluctantly, he let her go and stepped away from her. "You need to forget about me," he told her. "No, Raguel, wait!" Lilith pleaded, but knowing this was for the best, Raguel had already taken flight and sped towards Heaven, leaving Lilith to grieve their love and their biggest mistake.

  2. Yeah, it's been pretty exhausting. But at least it's over and done with now. Hope you've been doing alright as well. I duno if you've seen but I've also posted a blog about Raguel & Lilith. I'm going to try and get more of their backstory up as we go along.

  8. Sure, I thought he could've been the one Raziel recognised who dragged Lucretia into the main hall with him. Maybe after forcing them to kneel before her, he moved to stand beside her? I'll leave that up to you 😄 I'm just typing up my reply now. Sorry for being gone for so long :)

  9. Oh I see! I guess I could do Nate then. He is one of my first Angel characters.

  10. Had an annoying work day but other than that I'm fine. I'm not sure if I can really focus on being that character. If you can, I'd like some details to help me.

  11. Oh shit. Don't get too carried away. You gotta make sure you take yourself out of the writing zone sometimes. Speaking of which, I'm going to bring back that Australian hitman at some point soon. Not to mention that one officer whom I forgot his name but I'll take a look at our past messages to find his name. I'll think about how I'm going to put him in so I don't think he'll be around just yet.

  12. I just wrote up an argument and a small fight. Didn't realise how it had affected me personally until I got up to get a drink and saw on my way back that my bf was giving me an odd look. I'd basically stormed off and back in with a grumpy look on my face and yet I'm perfectly fine xD Love being an empath sometimes hahaha

  13. Damn! That's one way to keep things interesting.

  14. So, just as a heads up. I kinda have a plan for how the big bad gets taken down. It's going to take a bit of time and for this version of Amelia to get some serious character development first. Plenty of opportunities though for side stories, particularly as there's a literal whole other world of alternative characters that could be entering and causing havoc in the main world. With that in mind, I'm guna keep encounters with the main villain to a minimum. But her appearances will almost always be brutal/devastating. xD In the meantime, she'll mostly be sending her loyal lackeys to do her bidding.

  15. But they're awesome! Hell I can't even stand them! That's how you make a good villain.
    1 point
  16. On the one hand, my newest villains are practically writing themselves and I'm exicted to see this story develop. On the other hand - holy hell they're turning out way more brutal and dark than I had imagined! 🫠

  18. I always knew I was a Slytherin at heart. I loved to do the opposite that the teachers told me.

  19. I haven't played it for a while but my first playthrough was as a Slytherin too 😄 Just had to be Sebastian's bestie and may have had a little too much fun using the unforgivable curses on the goblins hahaha

  20. OMG I didn't know you played that game! I love Hogwarts Legacy! I made the most goth character who's in Slytherin. A lot of angst in my playthrough.

  21. I think I managed to make my most David-est character lol Albiet a younger version. He even ended up in Ravenclaw which is absolutely fitting hahaha

  25. Hey, hope you're ok. Sorry I've been gone a while. I'm itching to write so hoping to do my next post soon. Got a lot of ideas flying around in my brain lol. I'm thinking with the alternate universe threat, this storyline is guna be pretty major so I've carefully selected a few of my chars for deaths, close calls and kidnappings. Mwa ha ha! 🙂

  26. i gotta ask, would you have preferred if i responded to the characters dialogue first before bringing the action in? I could still respond to it if you want me to. i rather not leave you empty handed like that.

  27. For some reason, I'm imagining your Angel looking like Carmilla from Castlevania xD

  28. Could be possible. It is an alternative universe after all 🙂
    1 point
  29. So, I've been mulling over the idea of the alternate universe where Amelia was raised by Lucifer instead and it's amazing how much of the story changes when you change one small detail lol I've quickly written up this list of what would change. Let me know if you think of anything else to add. I also thought that to make things easier when writing about our own characters from the alt universe to put an asterisk * next to their name so we know which is which lol Amelia* found by Lucifer* instead of David*. Raised, trained and turned into Devil by Lucifer*. Amelia* then destroyed David*, Carol*, Damien* and Lucifer* to take the throne. Changes;- * Following Lucifers* destruction, Clementine* became loyal to Amelia*. * No peace between Heaven and Hell. * Sebastian* was never saved from ADIEU and went mad. * Carter* went to face Theo* and Vincent* alone. * Additionally, if Carter* survived the encounter then there wouldn't have been anyone around to get in Bryce's* way. * Elliot* became a vampire snack at the club * Having looked up to Carter*, Parker* would have gone looking for him when he'd go missing and either would have been killed or turned, (if turned, he'd have gone mad and joined Amelia's army.) * Charles* and Vincent* would never have body swapped. High chance Charles* never awoke/ came out of hiding or Amelia* destroyed him to eliminate competition like Lucifer* used to do. * Nate* was never saved from ADIEU * Tom* worked for ADIEU until he eventually figured out what they were doing in the labs. He was assassinated before he could expose them by Leo* who was still brainwashed. * James* is also still brainwashed by ADIEU * Desi* never left their brothel and subsequently never split into two beings * Salvo* remained biggoted, murdered Mon* & Bern* and never changed his ways * Rickster* never met Ricky*, remained the leader of his gang of thieves, continued to neglect Neva* and would eventually wage a gang war against Kris* and his gang * Ricky* also never changed his ways and continued trying to persue demons to get out of his contract. * With no Alex* or Elliot* around, Gary* died in a fire * Oscar* never left hell and remained a punishment demon * The war between vampires and Steinheil hunters continues * The CIA never got involved with the vampire castle, but the rest at the castle played out mostly the same minus Patience*, Jessica* & Ben* moving in. * After Parker* went after Carter*, Jessica* never found her long lost brother and ended up stranded & homeless in the US after spending all the money she had trying to find him. Ben* still finds her... but only after she overdoses in an alley.

  31. That sounds good. I was debating whether or not to drop a bombshell near the end of the event but I still need to figure out a few details to make it work.

  33. I was also thinking of bringing an angry Angel to interrupt Death's ceremony and proclaim this alliance between Demons and Angels to blasphemous. I would be playing the Angel. I was thinking of it when I watched that music video from Hazbin Hotel. But it's really up to you.

  34. Thank you 🙂 and sure. I think seeing a legit Spirit of Nature will blow her mind lol

  35. That sounds terrific! And I hope you get some sleep. Do you think you could include Nil's girlfriend in this interaction with the fairy? It'll feel weird just playing two characters in one scene by myself.
    1 point
  36. That's just as well cos I've had insomnia for the past few nights and am now ready to pass out lol Anyhoo, before I do fall asleep, this was what I thought of that could fit together with your idea; So, you know how Death and life have their own realms and they preside over their kingdoms? The same thing in a hidden valley on earth and Gaia is the queen. The only mortals on earth who can find her kingdom are the fairies because they're direct descents of the queen. (Your new character could be one) They can reveal themselves to mortals but rarely do so as to not risk The Balance. Very few of her subjects are humanoid as most resemble flora, fauna or fairytale creatures. They're all about all things nature, whether that be the brutal circle of life, evolution to aid the survival of plants and animals alike, helping flowers to bloom, etc. Additionally, the reason Gaia wasn't called to the meeting with Unity is because she's been stuck in a sleeping beauty type sleep for centuries. So her subjects have been guarding her and trying to maintain their duties in her absence. What do you think?

  37. Sure! Though I might be unavailable for a bit today. Going out shopping with my mom and just hanging out. I am excited to see what you have to say!

  38. I had this idea that I would have a new character in relation to Nil's fairy powers. Basically, it would be some kind of rule checker for fairies or mother nature. Something like that. I would add this scene of the character appearing in front of Nil. I'm going to use Snufkin as a reference but I don't know if I should use the older adaption or the 3D one of him. He's from the cartoon Moominvalley. I only wanted to ask and see if you're ok with it. I wouldn't do it now but reply to your future message with the scene.

  42. Wow! That's a lot of people. I can only think of Jean inviting Hannes, Raven inviting Conrad, and Life inviting The Hopper. Other than that, there's too many people for me to even think of anything else.

  43. Honest question, should I have not used Jean for that scene? I forgot about everyone else's name at the castle for some reason and didn't bother to check my notes. I'm really sorry about that. I'll be sure not to do that next time.

  44. just letting you know, I re edit my message to add the scene. it's the last one.

  46. Good to know that you're ok. Don't worry. I'm not trying to rush our story. Just got a bit worried as I always do sometimes. I tend to overthink things but I try to keep myself grounded. At the very least, I'm glad your only struggles have been general things. Though I hope your landlord isn't an ass. I've had my fair share of terrible landlords.

  47. Hey just wanted to check on you and see if everything's alright. I haven't heard from you in a while so I worry too much. You know me and my anxiety. Sorry if I'm being too invasive.
